June 12, 2012
Hi everyone,
I just arrived back in Seattle from a weekend at home in Idaho. I had a wonderful time visiting with family and friends at a party my parents threw, and my guess is that most of you that will be reading this blog were in attendance! As promised, I've set up this blog to share my experiences and pictures with you as I travel through Ghana this summer. I depart June 21st, which I've realized is now only 9 days away. You know what this means.... time to start making lists! I've started lists of: people to meet with (my boss, profs, etc), items to buy (electric outlet converters, surge protectors), errands to run (get my hair trimmed!), and items to pack. I think I need to start one for important documents to print as well. Anyway, this next week will be a whirlwind of preparations, and then I'll be off on my adventure! I hope to be able to update this blog frequently, and look forward to sharing this experience with all of you.
Until next time!
Colleen
Safe travels Colleen! I am so excited to keep up with you via armchair travel!
